Phanteks P400s fan controller help

Hi there, was wondering if i put the 3 fans into the split headers and if i do how does that work, and i was also wondering where the 12v input goes, does it go on the mobo or in the case somewhere

Locate the SATA power connector coming from PSU and connect the 12v input there.

Look for such connector from your PSU.

found that, but what about the fan controller, do i just plug all the fans into that and use it or do i plug one parti tot he mobo???

Just connect SATA to power it and then connect fans to it. There is no cable that goes from fan controller to the MoBo.

Fan controller is a separate system for controlling fans manually by the user. If you don't want to control your fans manually and like the system to do it for you, then you have to connect your fans directly to the MoBo.
