Phanteks announced the EVOLV Shift and Shift X at Computex, and despite the tiny 170 x 270mm footprint, this pair of mini-ITX cases are anything but “mini.”

Always interesting to see what Phanteks will come up with next .... but unlike past groundbreaking designs, I don't see the rest of the industry mimicking this one. Sine it has the Phanteks name on it, I'm dire it's sturdy and well thought out but for me, it's just too "tippy". I do see a use for it as a media server where tight spaces dictate it being stuffed in a cubby hole next to a big screen TV. But while well suited for that application, I don't see it spreading beyond that niche.

All that wasted space under the motherboard. You could stuff easily 12 HDDs in there.

Another excellent design from Phantek featuring easy access and great cooling options.
I think these will appeal to many.
