can HBAO+ be enabled in the 'Global Settings' tab in the Nvidia Control Panel?...or does it only work when using the Phantom Pain profile within the 'Program Settings' tab?...I know you need to disable AO via the in-game settings and enable 'Quality' under Ambient Occlusion in the NVCP but am wondering if the 'Global Settings' work...I always use Global versus setting any game-specific profiles

Solution
You can enable it but the effect will only be enabled for games that support the setting. Won't be enabled in games that do not support it and some may even have issues. Changing the setting individually is better.

thanks for the reply...I prefer using Global Settings for every game I play and manually going in and changing the settings for each game...looking at the Nvidia instructions on enabling HBAO+ with Phantom Pain they specifically mentioned going into the 'Program Settings' tab and choosing the Phantom Pain profile in order for HBAO+ to work so I thought maybe it was a profile-specific setting that wouldn't work in 'Global Settings'
