Phantom power issue

So basially i have a new mic with no intrest in paying for phantom power unit, i have tons of ac and dc adapters is there a way for me to use one of these instead? it required 5v i think. If i can would i simply apply current with only a red wire or put in both red and black wires

Phantom power usually runs 48V, but mics often don't need that full voltage. It also uses three pins with the positive voltage applied in parallel to both signal wires and the negative to the ground.
