It's a more mature CPU in terms of fabrication refinement so offers better compute efficiency and overclocking headroom, and of course, 6 cores instead of 4.

1055T is better for multitasking but it have low core clock at only 2.8ghz and for gaming 955 will be better at 3.2ghz. No game will 6 cores effectively.

Depends what you will do with your CPU.

The 1055T runs 3.3ghz turbo speeds, 2.8ghz when all cores are loaded. When overclocked, the more mature stepping of the thuban is apt to go further than the 955.

Sorry, there is NO advantage to the 955 here. The reduced base clock is largely irrelevant as the only time it's going to run at those base speeds is in workloads that are leveraging the additional parallelism anyway.
