Phenom 9850 BE a good CPU?

I'm wondering if this cpu is any good. I know it's old but i can save alot and can upgrade more on the gpu, But I'm not sure if it's good, which is my question.

not really..They don't overclock much;draws a lot of power.
$50 eh..maybe OK
but if you have a board that unlocks chips;I'd look for a phenom II and take the chance it unlocks.
maybe even a Rana or something..they overclock better.
