Hi all:

I am looking to see if my cpu is bottlenecking with my video card as some people has told me it might be bottlenecking.
I have a Phenom II 965 BE @ 3.8 ghz and an evga 660 ti SC.
Playing crysis 2 all set to Ultra with high res package and using DX 11 at 1080P I am getting a very good 58 FPS avg max 80 min 35.

Here is how my resources look when playing crysis 2, as you can see the gpu usage is 99 % and cpu varies from 60 to 70% I personally think that is the card bottlenecking and not my cpu, what you think??

No, if your CPU was bottlenecking you, you would see like 100% CPU and 50% GPU as the GPU wasn't being utilized. You seem to be around the perfect balance, GPU maxed and CPU near maxed. Going up much in video cards though might then bottleneck the CPU.

965 black edition in my eyes is still a high end quad, its your videocard bottle necking, far from your cpu. As long as you have a decent quadcore in this generation you wont be bottle necking any game even cpu intensive games.

Thank you all for your quick replies, I was thinking to get an intel i5 looking to get better performance with this card but now i am backing up.
maybe on my next build i will try to get a next gen intel 4670K with an AMD 8970
