Always are!!!! I cant keep them straigt anymore ....... this one for this guy, that one for me, this one for the kid, that one for my woman, hundreds for the boss, and last but not least the desk is still getting put together. I just bought a cooler master v8, 2 250 gb HDDs(for raid), 8gb ram (800mhz) and 3 9800gtx's for the Striker II I have in the corner of the desk, all this is not to mention all the crap I gotten lately for my i5/MSI big Bang/HD5870 and my original PII rig with double 4870x2s. Ugggggghhhh like I said ........ ALWAYS!!!!!

So you're the one buying up all the 5800s from NewEgg! Ah ha! Gotcha!!! :lol:

I look there every day. No 5850s. :(

^It should be able to unlock, at least I know someone who was able to unlock cores on that board...
I like it...nice price!
Now keep in mind that when unlocking it unlocks all cores...and you can turn specific cores off in windows.

Yeah...I've been bussy and haven't been here for a while also...
Why did so many of you abondon our site? It actually nice...it's improving every day...and I'm writing a few guides and reviews...we got a nice downloads section...it's nice except we need more people to post stuff there...

I ordered mine too. Well, sort of.

I am going to wait 3-4 weeks and see what cards come out from ATI and nVidia in November. No one has 5850s in stock, so I couldn't get what I wanted.

In the meantime, I might just put an old 7900GT in for the heck of it. :lol:

P.S.- I have 2 AMD Phenom II x2 550BEs on the order...one combo'ed with a cooler (Zalman), and one combo'ed with the OS (I got Win 7 Pro 64-bit to tri-boot with Win XP x64 Pro and Kubuntu)

I am using a 8400GS Super at the moment to 1, get some more money and 2, to see what comes out in a couple of months!

I hope to have all but the video cards by next week, then I will to watch to see what comes out in November.

I figure worst case is...I buy 2 5750s and Cross fire them...then, wait til the end of the year for NewEgg to put stuff on sale and the card makers to want to sell a lot of stock after the Christmas holiday and get some big rebates and price breaks. :D

Can't wait to hear/see your results too. I am going to try and take pics with my camera to show my build when I'm done.

I have the Phenom II X2 as well, and haven't been able to activate the other two cores. I can set the EC firmware to hybrid without a problem, but when I set the ACC to auto, the system fails during POST and I have to use the clear CMOS jumper. Is my chip maybe one of those that can't be fully enabled?

Thats what happens why, but I think my NB and Vcore is under powered so I may need to fix that.....

I purchased the exact same hardware on Black Friday (Except I purchased NVIDIA, not ATI)

Unlocked like a charm, running at 3.42Ghz on stock cooling at 42c under load.
(Antec 300 case...a *** load of 200mm+ fans)



My only issue is that my 4gb of GSKILL DDR3 is coming up 3.25gb - Anyone know why?
