Phenom II x4 955 BE overclock question

Hi there.
Before I finally retire this cpu to a dusty cupboard somewhere and upgrade I thought I'd try my hand at overclocking it to see what it can do.
I've read numerous threads and tuts on the subject and just went ahead head first.
So I increased it to 220 and multiplier to 16.5.
That gave me a more unstable than not 3.6Ghz.
Sometimes would POST fine but more often than not wouldn't POST and stated that overclocking had failed.
So i read some more around the net and basically went straight into the multiplier and raised it to 19x. 3800Mhz.
I ran everything else at stock and booted it up.
Ran OCCT for 2 hours and my max temps didn't go over 56 degrees.

I'm using a Coolermaster Hyper 212 heatsink and have a very well air condition Antec 1200 case.

My question is, should I increase any other settings to keep it "proper" stable?
Or just risk it for a chocolate biscuit til I upgrade?
Cheers in advance.

Solution
1.35v --especially with that mobo-- is good. C&Q should make no difference.

If you want to use the system clock you must drop the RAM divider to keep yoyr memory running at spec. For a neat OC utility, try Phenom MsrTweaker

1| Please list your full system's specs like so:
CPU+CPU Cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

2| Is that the 212 Plus or the latter revision(s)?

3| You forgot to touch up on the voltages since that is the power fed to your processor and if the board doesn't have the necessary heatsinks you're going to see a fried computer.

4| You might also want to look through this.

Hi there.
CPU+CPU Cooler: AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE + Coolermaster Hyper 212.
Motherboard: Asus M4N68T - M V2
Ram: 8GB Kingston HyperX 1300Mhz
SSD/HDD: 1TB Seagate
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 760 2GB
PSU: Antec 850w
Chassis: Antec 1200
OS: Windows 10 Pro.

Ok so I ran Prime95 for about an hour just now and had CPUZ opened and noticed my voltage is actually fluctuating depending on use. So I started Prime and it shot up to around 1.35 and then closed Prime and it went down.
Maybe I should turn CnQ off?

Solution
Thanks for the reply Wisecracker.
I've been using it now pretty much all day at 3.8 [obviously only when gaming or when it needs to use that speed] with no problems. I've had HWMonitor open and every 5 mins keep checking my max temps and I've still not gone over 56 degrees. Which I think is good.
I mean, my Antec case sounds like a wind turbine but it's doing the job for now.
And bizarrely its more stable at this clock speed than a lower one.
Is that unusual or pretty common on some CPU's?

Ahh. it's only an AM3. OverDrive won't recognise my chipset so won't run.
I've had this CPU since new about 7 years and never once OC'd it. So before I head towards a Ryzen 3 [I'm only gaming at 1360x768] thought I'd see what all the hullabaloo was all about this 'ere overclockin' thing everyone keeps harpin' on about.
I've noticed a considerable improvement and kinda gutted I didn't try this a few years ago. Although would have probably had a major impact on the lifespan of my poor ol' 955.

Cheers again Wisecracker.
