Phenom ii x4 965 vs. i5-750

These are the two processors that fall into my budget snug. I would like to know what the community recommends. My computer is used almost exclusively for gaming and I more than likely will NOT overclock either processor. I could save a few bucks by going AMD, but its nothing staggering. Thanks for the help, would like to hear all your opinions

I just purchased my first AMD CPU, the X4 955BE, last night from Newegg along with the ASUS M4A785-M AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. For both items I paid $229 (or 150 Pounds) w/ free shipping. I've purchased 6 Intel CPUs over the last two years but now I believe AMD provides better value.

My othe reason for going with AMD this time (and probably next time) is to support the team that seems to be more concerned about giving value to the users rather than fancy TV commercials. I also didn't like the lawsuits and fines levied against Intel but I'm not caliing them an evil monopoly as others here have said.
