phenom II x6 1090t overclock save temp/voltage

i have overclocked my 1090t and ran a benchmark for 15-20 mins and the cpu temp was 65 degrees and core was 45. the temp when idle is about 40 degrees in a cool room about 18 degrees. the voltage is 1.45 and im getting a stable 4ghz overclock. the cpu bus is 250 mhz. are the voltages and temperatures ok? im using a cooler master hyper 212 evo and an asus m5a990 fx r2 motherboard in a thermal take overseer rx-i case with 2x 200mm fan and 2x 120 mm fans. this is my first time overclocking.

I would definitely benchmark it for a longer period of time. Like 24 hours to truly call it stable, but if you're like me you'll just overclock it and have a temp reader running and set it to alert you if it gets over 80 C. 65C is a pretty safe temp.

Nevermind. I've been looking around... It looks like the older AMD can't handle heat as well as the 8320's. For a 1090T 65C is pushing it. There's a chance over time it will become unstable. You're look at the top end threshold being around 65 C and you're teetering on it. A safe temperature would be around mid to high 50's. So you either need a better cooler and paste. or maybe just paste. The 212 should be able to do the job if you have it setup with 2 fans and they're pushing air in 1 direction.

thanks for your input . while gaming and not doing a stress test it sits around 50-55 or so. as long as i dont bench it for long periods of time do you think it will be ok? cpuz says the voltage gets up to 1.45. i could try to drop that a little and check for stability. ive been running it since i posted with no blue screens and its currently sitting at 26 degrees core and 40 cpu temp after being idle for a few hrs in a ~20 degree room. the only concern for me if the voltage at the moment. unless you think i should step down my overclock to 3.8 ghz which i have a saved setting for with no voltage change.

Voltages under 1.50 seem to be safe for this chip so you should be all clear!
