Phenom II x6 1100T Compatibility?

IT is NOT good advice to recommend a 955 over an 1100t in the interests in RAW power, especially if you are going to recommend the 955 overclocked to 4GHz, the 1100t will overclock to 4.0 easily... When you read your reviews consider the base clock and if the reviewers disable turbo core, sure, stock out of the box a quad core can potentially outperform a hex-core, that is simply because the hex CPU's normally have a much lower base clock, and turbo core is basically a gimic, (read that as DISABLE IT) clock for clock a Phenom II hex core will *** on a Phenom II quad core 99.99999999 % of the time

I can see you understand and therefore know that the 955 is the best choice.

I was faced with the same choice a couple years back and went with the 955 (and paid alot for it compared to todays prices) and have not regretted it once and with my current oc and still questioning upgrading to the future BD or current SB chips bc the performance gains will be very small by my calculation so likely I will upgrade my graphics subsytem next instead of upgrading my cpu... I hope this gives the OP an idea of the 955s power which is pretty decent imo
