Question Phenom x6 1055t - worth the upgrade?

Hello, my secondary pc is running quite slow after installing new windows 10.
Specs are:

• mobo: Asrock A770DE+
• cpu: unlocked AMD Phenom fx-5000 2.2ghz quad-core
• ram: 8GB DDR2

• video: Nvidia geforce GT 710
• some sata ssd
• psu is gigabyte 450w gold

Could the slowness come from a bad RAM or it's just the CPU (I see the CPU struggling with normal tasks hitting 70-100%) ?
Also, I have a good offer to get Phenom x6 1055t for $25, is it worth the upgrade?
OR, another thing is I can get Phenom 2 x4 955 that runs on 3.2 Ghz rather than the 6-core running on 2.8. Which one will be better?

hi, better phenom might not help you as windows 10 needs better CPU instructions
but 25$ thats still cheap upgrade

I was going to upgrade my Phenom II x4 945 to an 1100T several months ago, but decided it is not worth it. It won't even be as as fast as a 6C/6T Core i5. You're better off saving until you can buy something on a newer platform.
