ok bought Philips 436M6VBRAB 43in UHD HDR400 Monitor With Ambiglow this screen and its scanning Frequencys are VGA:47-63Hz/HDMI/DisplayPort:23-80Hz/DisplayPort:30-160hz.... i can only get it to work in 60hz .... my pc build for helping with the issue is ASUS Maximus VIII Hero ATX Motherboard....Cpu is 6700k... 850watt psu EVGA... 32GB ddr4 ram..two 1080 Gigabyte cards SLI.. anyways just cant get it to save 160hz on the Nvidia control panel when making custom resolutions when i click test it actually works and asks me to save it but never saves.... so i dunno what to do any ideas would help

Solution
Scanning frequenxy has nothing to do with output fps. It's a 4K monitor, it's capped at 60hz. Possibly dropping down to 1080 might get you a higher fps but there is no 4K monitor in the world that can do 160hz
