Philips 9704 media player flickers

Hello,

My 46" philips 9704 tv starts flickering and picture becomes choppy after playing for 5 mins. If I rewind for a second and play it again, it plays fine for 5 mins and the flickering is back again! Did anybody face this problem before?

To clarify, this problem is with the built in media player of the TV and I'm trying to play AVI files, which is supported according to the documentation.

That's not rare, ok you can check the warranty of that TV and return it or contact their after support - usually they will tell you what to do. They have their own service technician to deal with that problem. The warranty card is that little booklet that comes with the unit when you purchased it. The service contacts is usually at the last page of the booklet.
