Issue with new Philips 241B8QJEB/75 monitor randomly not getting any signal input from pc, unless the monitor is turned off and switched off at the wall....wait 30 secs and it's good again. It never happens when actively using the monitor, only when it's been fully shut down, or when it's gone into sleep mode.

Sometimes when I start the pc in the morning, this new monitor is not detected, or it may randomly happen during the day when the pc has been asleep.....I don't have to restart the pc, just turn off the power to the monitor from the wall... replug after 30 seconds then it's fine again.

New rebuilt pc, running W11, with 2 monitors. I had to buy a new main monitor to take advantage of the DisplayPort fitting, my second monitor is using HDMI (no DP option) and never had any issues.
Updated the display drivers, but didn't help.
Can't work out if it is a power supply issue, problem with connection/motherboard, W11 problem, energy saving setting, or maybe a dodgy monitor (only 6 weeks old)??

Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-12100 3.30 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

What is the make/model of your motherboard?
Is the monitor connected to the motherboard or to a discrete gpu?
Modern motherboards and monitors seem obsessive about reducing power.
I suspect that the motherboard sleep state power is insufficient to keep the monitor residual power high enough to detect the wake signal.
There should be some settings in the bios to impact this.

Motherboard is
Gigabyte Z690I Aorus Ultra Lite LGA 1700 DDR4 ITX

I had an older monitor which only had a DVI connection.....and I bought a Display Port adaptor for the DVI cable....... the motherboard didn't like that, hence the new monitor.

This new monitor is connected directly to motherboard via DP cable .
I have a second monitor connected via HDMI, but it doesn't have x a DP option, so I can't swap monitor connections around.
