I want to use the 18v lithium batteries from my power tools to charge my phone. What's the best way to go about it?

I thought about plugging my car charger directly but Anker support just said it's a 12v charger and didn't give me the acceptable input range.

I figure it's best to put something with a 15-40v input / 12v output inbetween. There are a number of these available, are there any I should go with or avoid.

I've found 12/24v step-down to 5v transformers, but none of the explicitly say they're a range of 12-24v. I also don't trust charging sensitive electronics from them.

Most of the tool manufacturers have a USB adapter that connects to the battery and provides 2 - 4 standard USB A ports. Some may provide USB-C.

For example -- https://www.amazon.com/Witlight-Adapter-Milwaukee-Battery-Light/dp/B08KGFLLK4

There's an adapter for my RYOBI which will provide me with 12 guage leads and in line fuse, but I haven't seen any kits for them like there are for Milwaukee.

As stated above I'm concerned about protecting my phone. I don't think any of these transformers provide over-charge protection or fast charge option.
