Question Phone doesn't connect to router's IP:PORT

my favorite app for transfering data throw phone and pc is AirDroid (android version). when i lunch the app it gives me a ip and port like 192.168.1.34:8888 and I have to open it on my pc browser. The problem is after updating my router's firmware version (I think) I can't reach this link nomore . you might say it's because of the app ! but it is not because i have used another app that works like AirDroid with port 8080 but same as AirDroid it doesn't connect .
Note: I have checked with another pc and it still has the problem BUT when i use link in my phone browser it connects (weird !!)
My Modem: D-link DSL-2730U | Firmware Version:ME_1.07

Why don't you connect phone to PC with a data cable to avoid all that configuration hassle? That's how I do it with my Android phone & my wife's iPhone. Then use Windows Explorer to transfer stuff between them.

Because wifi it's faster than cable ?! (maybe my cable was trash) and also it's a problem in fact so I should fix it at least !
