So I was looking for a phone with
-LONG battery life
-SD CARD SLOT!!
-great screen quality
-fantastic camera
-waterproof
-aesthetically pleasing
-powerful

and the sony xperia z3c seemed exactly like what i was looking for.. so i put it in my amazon cart for a few days and decided to look at some of the reviews.. and of course, as fate would have it, this phone is only available with T-Mobile, which has really weak speeds in my area, and on top of that, the "Z3V", verizons model, has a shorter battery, cheaper casing, and is $600 unlocked! I have no idea what to do now, I was totally set on this phone. Just wondering if you guys had any good alternatives similar to this phone.. main concerns are that it has a long battery life, great camera, sd card slot, and doesn't stutter much. oh yeah, and i have to buy it unlocked as well... (sorta long story, but i have to buy unlocked to keep my unlimited data plan) so around 500$ would be best, because that's how much the z3c was. sorry if im being too nitpicky, i was just totally set on this phone and now am pretty bummed on missing the black friday sales and such for it. I don't use this forum often either, so if i didn't check a sticky or there are already topics to help on this, sorry! thanks for any help on this though!

Have you looked at any Windows phones? Lumia 1020 has a long battery life, best camera of any phone, 42MP camera, great screen quality and is durable. Can get one unlocked on ebay for around 400 i think.

i'll be honest, windows phones never really interested me much. i prefer the feel of stock android or Cyanogen, because i like customizing it and playing with it. i probably wouldnt make the switch over easily, but i'll keep this on my radar. the camera looks fantastic.

I thought the same thing and wish I still had my Windows Phone. Its a little different but customizing is easy and really good. Great camera and long battery. Nice SD slot can take up to 64GB SD card.

i'll check out some videos of it. are there any apps that can't be accessed from it? i assume it doesn't have the google play store?

No it has the Windows store on it. Some apps cant be found but it is being updated with new apps daily. Most popular apps are found on it and if you can find the app online then you can add the online page as a tile on the homescreen which is really helpful and nice.

that does sound nice, being someone who's been on android since the beginning though, i know what it's like to have a market with nothing but smaller apps and the promise of "more to come". I would much rather stick with android but i'll do my research on windows phones, i might just change my mind
