Question Phone SD card not showing in W11 File Explorer

Hello-

Windows 11 is not recognizing the SD card in my Samsung phone when using File Explorer or Windows Media Player. Either of those applications will find the phone internal storage and navigate within it. I did not have these problems in Windows 7.

Media Monkey does see the SD card.

Any idea how to fix the Windows problem?

Do you use an older SD card reader?

Does the SD card appear correctly if plug into other computers ?

So, this was fun.

The phone had the same issues on the W10 laptop, using two different cables (one was an official Samsung cable).

Tried the Samsung cable on the desktop, no changes.

Then, for S&G's, I did a restart on the phone.

It works now.

Wish I thought to try that first....
