Question Phone won't connect to extended network but PC will

Hi guys. I'm pulling my hair out here and would love some help. I'm not very technical, but I've had extenders before with no problems. I got a new faster speed Spectrum router (major mistake) and now my phone won't connect to the extended network. My old router was 2.4Gz and this one is dual band. My Galaxy note 8 can't connect to either the 2.4G or 5G extended networks (but connects to the regular 2.4G and 5G networks without issue). The odd thing is that my PC connects to the extended networks without issue. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

One addiitonal thing: I just tried and my phone WILL connect to the extended network in safe mode!
