Phones wont work after new modem is installed

So i got a new modem from rogers. Its called the rocket modem. So installing it was easy but now my phones wont work. The problem being i cant hear the other person but they csn hear me. Whats wrong they worked fine with the other modem

Is this a DSL modem? Normally, the phone is split out from the data with a DSL connection. Make sure all your connections are good, and that the right cables were used. Usually only the inner pair is needed (most cheap cords only have the inner pair), but if your system requires both pairs, you may need to get better cables, or make your own. If a telecommunications provider installed the modem, you should expect them to ensure that everything is working properly.
