Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Next Month

Budget Range: $1,500 Max

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro (4K Video from Sony A7 Series), Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Whatever is safest and has great prices. I can't do Microcenter since I don't live near one.

Location: Huron, OH

Parts Preferences: Intel i7 Skylake, NVIDIA 1070 8GB, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Western Digital HDD

Overclocking: Maybe. I have never done it before.

SLI or Crossfire: No.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1080p. I plan to upgrade to 2K (QuadHD) down the road.

Additional Comments:

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My PC from years ago has finally died and I am looking to invest in newer parts for a better experience. I am not a diehard gamer and don't care to play games in 4K, but I may get into VR down the road.

As mentioned above, I would prefer:

1. Intel i7 Skylake (Quad-Core or 6-Core)
2. NVIDIA 1070
3. 32GB DDR4 RAM
4. Western Digital HDD (Bad experiences with Seagate)

Solution
This would be a nice photo/video editing build. Later on you might want to add an additional SSD as a separate video editing drive. I bumped the RAM speed up a tiny bit for gaming but made sure it is still at 1.2V.
