I am need of assistance with my new build. It has been quite awhile since I have built a PC but I am in desperate need of refresh. My job requires a lot of heavy photo editing with the possibility of video down the line, additionally, I would like to get back into PC gaming. I had planned on spending between 3 and 4k on the rig, but depending on recommendations I could possibly go higher. I already have a monitor so that leaves more for the rig itself. I don't know whether AMD or Intel would be better, I like what AMD is doing and it would seem that I could save a bit going that route, but again I am more concerned with performance than price.
