Photo Monitor question

I just bought a Dell 8930 with 1tb HDD, 256gb SSD, 16gb Memory. I want a good Monitor for Photo editing in the $200-$300.00 range. Do i need a back lit monitor. Does anyone have a suggestion?

All LCD monitors are back-lit (except crazy expensive OLED models).
Look into Dell UltraSharp IPS line of monitors.
