I have an Epson Workforce 635. Without fail, when I try to print a 4x6" photo on photo paper, the printer says it's jammed. Yet it isn't. The paper just stops. When I print a full-sized sheet of paper for text or full sized photo paper, it prints just fine. I have brand new ink cartridges too. I've been looking for a problem for a week and can find nothing. The 4x6 photo paper simply will not work! What is going on?.

It seems as thought the printer starts to load the paper then, when the sensors detect that it is not normal A4 paper the print job is cancelled and then the paper ejected. I am sure that this is somewhere in the settings. I am not familiar with the Epson software but most printers come with bundled software for printer management and printing photos. Are you using the Epsom photo printing application to do this or are you just using the file > print function from the menu of an application such as Photoshop ? Have you looked at the page setup as well as the print setup ?
I did all of that. Best Photo quality and glossy photo paper. I also have new cartridges, new paper and reinstalled the drivers from Epson's website. No luck. The paper is not actually jammed. It feeds halfway in and stops. If I push "OK" twice, the paper ejects in perfect condition. Everything is set up as it should be. Last night I printed schematics on plain paper with no problems. Photos? Nope.
