Photo Printer Review

I just read the latest photo printer from THG and was surprised at how bad the epson did. I then looked at both the Canon and Epson lines and they compared a top of the line Canon Photo Printer against Epson's general stylus printer. Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to review an actual Epson "Photo" Printer? I then looked for more reviews and found a lot of very favorable reviews on Canon products in the past 9 months more than any other product. Should I be concerned there's a bias here?

Tom's hardware does a great job of showing proof of quality (scanned photo's printed on different printers), but they also leave out some important information...or hide it in the paragraphs that people skip over. In the same review you are speaking of, they never showed the quality of the black (56) or gray (59) cartridge comparing them to the Canon also. They never used to be like until the last year or so, and now Canon is King in their eyes it seems.
