Photocopy paper jam brother 8840D

I have removed all paper and the jam sign still appears. Do I have to clean the sensors, if so where are they, how do I do it? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deadline looms.

Well it turns out all of the paper wasn't removed. There is another cover that can be opened at the back. Hope this helps someone else!
