Reinstalling Photoshop CS5.1 in Windows 8.1 - tried multiple combinations and re-installs. The problem started when I updated my on-board Intel HD graphic card . Two different error messages: "Could not initialize Photoshop because the file has been damaged by a disk error."
"Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error." Also cannot get Studio 14 or PowerDirector editing software to install. I have since replaced the graphic card with GEFORCE GTX 750ti, but the problem persists.
