[SOLVED] Photoshop CS4 questions

How can I work on two photoshop images at the same time? When I open one, the prior one disappears. I can't find a setting that addresses this. It is driving me nuts.

Oh that was in the Windows version, I would have to reboot to check to see if it's any different for the Mac OS X version; if in Mac the Arrange Documents icon isn't there, that option will be around somewhere. Try the"View" drop-down menu
EDIT: Just checked. The icon is indeed there on the Mac version, just slightly further down (the top is always reserved for the Mac-style...


Assuming you're using Photoshop CS4 (but this probably applies to CS3 too tho' I don't have that installed anymore so I can't be sure), go to top-right of menu bar, and second to last icon should be Arrange Documents. Click on this and you'll get a whole range of choices re the display of open document(s), including having two side-by-side. Hope this helps :)
 
A very simple way is to drag the title of the image/work, and it will make a new screen. That is if you have both projects open at the same time. However you will only have one set of tools.
