[SOLVED] Photoshop filling up all of my hard drives and working painfully slowly.

I currently own a Lenovo yoga 530 and a desktop PC with a i5 7400 and 1060 6GB. Recently i was trying to use Photoshop on my desktop for the first time and trying to add a simple gradient took forever. After looking in to the file menage i noticed that Photoshop was filling all of my drives with temp files that slowed everything down. I tried to look for a solution for this but could not find anything. I would love to get some answers.
