Photoshop Processing delay?

Greetings all, I am a graphic designer. Ive asked recently to work on larger 2ft by 3ft posters. And when doing something my machine processes forever.

Here is the question what can i do to make it faster? Get better ram or a better video card?

i have 3 HDs, the photoshop is isntalled on my SSD and the temp folder is set on my HD 1tb

any ideas?

it your cpu it outdated. your better off updating to a amd 8000fx or to intel server mb and two cpu. also are you using the newest photoshop and is there setting in photoshop to use a ram drive. or have you tried making a ram drive.

Just because a cpu is old doesn't not mean it's bad. The 980x outperforms any fx.

Have you checked cpu usage, ram usage?
