Physical Memory Usage way too high

(I didn't know where to post this, in Win7 or in Memory tab. I guess this is a software problem not a hardware one.)

Hi,

So basically I don't shut down my computer often for extended periods of time. (On 13 day uptime right now)

During that time the lag increases day by day and it starts to annoy me, and the loading times are very bad.

I am troubleshooting for now, and have found out that explorer.exe was using over 2k handles in my proccess tab (task manager).
After checking resource monitor, I noticed that my memory in use was over 90% while having only chrome open, and the memory in use shown doesn't add up at all to that amount.

If anyone would have any knowledge as to why this is happening, how can I prevent it, and how can I check on the programs using/caching that much memory while not being displayed, please do answer.

Thank you.

So when I looked up online for more solutions I found out about Non-Paged Pool (Memory Leaks).

Task Manager > View > Select Columns > NP Pool
Highest Program? Razer Game Booster's service.

http://prntscr.com/ic7edn

Took up >2 GB of RAM.

http://prntscr.com/ic7f70

To fully close the service (for those who have problems);
Go to windows search (or windows key + R to run it directly), type in services.msc and find Razer Game Scanner and rzlkservice.exe
Right click, Stop.
After that you can I recommend you to uninstall Razer Game Booster because it has a memory leak.

That's it.

Get rid of Chrome.
There is a bug which causes memory overflow. (memory leak)
Google has not fixed the bugs.

Same problem with Chrome on many other systems....including mine. Chrome makes my computer crash.

Chrome does use a lot of memory. You say you only have Chrome open, but how many tabs? Each one acts like a separate instance of Chrome. Hit Shift and Escape keys at the same time to bring up Chrome Task Manager and you can see how much memory is used by each tab.

Chrome Task Manager:
http://prntscr.com/ic0ye8

Even without Chrome open, it still lags no matter what.

I've found out about dwm.exe (Desktop Windows Manager), it appareantly consumes some memory but to no avail can I see how much is it using currently.

Anyways something is consuming memory and I can not see what is it. Currently 3.6 / 4 GB are in use, but when you add up (approximately) all the programs use up to 1.5 - 2 GB of memory.

(More details);
Picture shows current programs open, highlighted some details (note that Chrome can hardly even use up 1 GB):

Picture that shows current performance:
