Hi. This may sound like a strange question - how do you identify which disk is which in your system? I you have only one or two disks, this is obviously pretty trivial. I'm in the process of reconfiguring my systems (new MOBO and disks in one system) and moving current MOBO and some disks to another system. So...
If I look at "Disk Management" (Win7) or open an Explorer browser, I can see the logical disks including their logical names. But NOT their physical identifiers, including the disk manufacturer and model number. OTOH, if I look in "Device Manager", I can see the physical information, but not the logical drive manager.
Is there any convenient way of showing the logical disk information and it's associated physical information?
Thanks,
Dan.
