Hey sorry if this is a noob question. I bought the Gtx 680.

My question is is the physx automatically enabled and if it isnt how do i turn it on? and can you run physx on a hdmi cable?

It is automatically installed when you install the NVidia drivers, now the list of games that use GPU accelerated (not CPU) PhysX is fairly small so only those games are effected and can use it.

In games that can use PhysX, you might have to go into the settings to turn it on for that game

the type of connection to your display does not matter for PhysX

click on nvidia icon on lower right or right click on desktop and go to nvidia control panel. look for physx in the left pane. click on it. options should appear in box at right.
