Question Pi0 quad core

The 8bit computer community is using pi0 in HDMI interfaces for older systems do you think we could use quad core pi0 instead and is there enough oomph to perform mpeg2 avi of the video output simultaneously please

The only Raspberry Pi Zero I know is single-core

Do you envision another RPi model? ANd what is intended use case - to encode HDMI into mpeg? Streaming? How ypu plan to capture the HDMI - with USB dongle? If so, there's already a project for that, Pi-KVM, which does that (and more)
