I wonder what the R420 version from ASUS will look like, their FX/XT versions looked very similar. I am very intrigued with what ASUS has to offer as they offer some of the best additonal features. I'd like to see Gainward's NV40 and MSI's NV40/R420. I expect them to have nice cool-utions as well.

Edit: As for the free slot, I'd do that anyway, so it's not a loss, but taking up a slot and then leaving the adjacent slot free as well would mean losing 2 slots. 1 I can handle, but two may be a little risky depending on the mobo you have.
