Pic opening problem in PC

My pictures in my laptop have some problem . on opening it says ''windows photo viewer can't open this picture because the file appears to be damaged , corrupted or its too large
what to doo..??
🙁 they are also saved as JPEG still not opening .

What can you do?
Try another photo viewing/editing software.

Paint, Photoshop, PaintShop Pro.

Open the jpeg file in another program - to make sure the file can´t be read probably. If it opens fine, re-save it and Windows Photo Viewer will probably recognize it again.

If the file is corrupted, then you can try to run a photo recovery software, don´t get your hopes up though. It´s well worth a try, but chances are the storage drive has bad sectors and the file is corrupted to the point of no return.

I bet the first option works, as I heard there are problems with Windows Photo Viewer before.
