Unsure which card to get. (I'm talking about for the money)

so i was thinking between the 570, (found one for 180)

the 580 (very expensive found some at 350)

or the 660 ti? also if you have any suggestions for a mid 200-300 dollar card it would be appreciated.

I wanted the 580 or 660 ti so it can be future proof but the 570 is very cheap so i wanted it if it's better for the money.

Well to start off there is no real such thing as future proof you can buy a card and over time tech can change and you may end up in a spot where you would need a new card to take advantage of that tech. However to be able to play a game at decent settings over time yes I think any of those cards would do. However I would say that the 660Ti would be the best out of the ones you have mentioned. Also, if you aren't totally against AMD you could also look towards the 7870 LE/XT/Myst cards which have nearly as much power as the 7950 for a bit less. If you dip into the 350 range you can take a look at the 670's. But again to circle back to what you are looking at the 660Ti is the strongest option in my opinion of what you have listed.

yeah by future proof i meant if it would last a long time (2 or 3 years) Hmm that's what i thought i'll prob go with the 660 ti and pair it with the 3570k i have. i haven't looked into amd cards much but i'll research the 7000 series and see if they're good for the price (actually i've heard they're really good for the prices). Thanks everyone yeah i agree i could probably sli if i had to in the future though i doubt that'll be necessary.
