I currently have an Rx 580 gaming x 8gb.I was looking to buy a Radeon 5700 xt. I found an Rx 570 4gb on sale for Black Friday. Should I buy the Rx 570 to crossfire with my Rx 580? I looked online and am still a little confused on how that works. So do they both combine their speeds to one super-ish card? Or can I have them both act separately, and use one for gaming and the other for recording, I heard of capture cards, and that you need 2 pc’s, if I have 2 graphics cards that act as separate computers, will that work similarly? Is it a good Idea to buy the Rx 570 and crossfire it with my Rx 580 and get the Rx 5700 xt later, or wait and get only the Rx 5700 xt and miss the sales?

Solution
Crossfire/SLI is a dying technology with little benefit. Also you have to have two of the same card to do it.

You are better off performance wise to buy a single better card, so get the 5700 xt
