I like the look of the ASUS heatsink, and especially the egotisticl design. I just hope it work well, especially since add-on cooling solutions that covered the ram didn't increase the overclcokability and more often than not decreased it.

Enjoy!

Not much just the reference card's look.

I can't wait to see the benchmarks on this badboy! Some of those boxees look REALLY cool! Heck, at my first glimpe at the Sapphire box I thought I was seeing the "Nihalnanth" (however you spell it) that was the boss at the end of Half-Life.

My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!
Edited by UFO_WARVIPER on 10/02/03 08:13 AM.

Heck with a box like that, its gotta be at LEAST 2x faster! OMGOMGOMG!!11!!

LOL. From what I've been reading all there will be with the XT line is a modest speed bump and, on Asus cards, video in.

Actually I'm not looking for the R9600X, like I've said, my next card is the PCI-EX cards, either an RV380 or an R420/423.

But as an R9600P owner I find it intruiging what the overclockability of the R9600XT will be. I also think that the Overdrive and Integrated fan speed and heat temp sensors are a great addition (something the nV cards have had for a while).
