Hello. i have a Samsung 226BW A panel and i got problem with its display. top edge of the picture displayed on the lcd doesn't touch the edge of the panel. And also the upper right corner seems don't have fit to the panel. So this gives me a picture with borders that doesn't run parallel to the opposite. But all other 3 corners have fit to the screen.

I tired re installing driver, checking resolution. it is set to 1680x1050.

This doesn't give me a perfect picture. Can someone help me to solve this?

My first post in this forum. thanks for helping.

Most monitors come with an OSD Lock function. This function locks most of the OSD (On Screen Display) Menu settings so they cannot be inadvertently changed, while usually still allowing you to adjust the Brightness, Contrast, Channel, and Volume.

When the OSD is locked, the features you cannot access are either grayed out or have the word LOCKED displayed at the bottom of their menu screens.

thanks rexter for helping me. But I still don't have an idea to what to do. right and bottom edges are touching the edge of the panel. But top edge looks like pulled in at the middle

I need to know more details about your System.

My guess it that you replace an old monitor with that LCD, try reinstalling the driver.
Have you try the site I give you? Try changing the resolution. see if it'll fill up the screen.

even when the monitor is turned off, I can see differently the strip that is not litten when using the monitor. The image looks like pushed downwards from the top side of the picture. straight lines are now displayed as curved. This is what I really experiencing. But when I look closer, I see that some corners are not fitted to the edge of the screen

If the computer is new, have a replacement, If not have it repaired if still has warranty.

Screen supposes to be black when it’s powered down or even on standby. Try unplugging the all of connection to the monitor for 5 minutes then plug it back in. If no difference then your LCD maybe damage. Seems like the liquid crystal leak or something

ok. computer I use is really an old one! but I got the LCD 1 and half month ago. Problems is with the monitor? or the pc? ok. I'll try unplugging.
