Picture exeeding monitors bezels. Windows 7.

there is something wrong with my desktop as well as all the programs i open. the image on the screen goes beyond the actual physical bezels of my monitor, making me unable to, for example, see the red cross in the top right corner of google chrome that closes the browser when clicked. This is really annoying me and i have no idea how to fix it. I hope someone has a solutions. I am using windows seven by the way. Thank you in advance.

i fixed it!!! lol...
For anybody else having this problem with a HP S2331a monitor, press the auto adjust button just to the left of the on/off button. at least that did it for me. Have a good day everyone!
