The site is away with the faeries at the moment so I cannot look at the

They both look excellent! So much time and effort but worthwhile I'm sure.

The only time I have ever seen a pinata up close was at a 21st birthday last
year. The girl who made it (with all the best intentions) spent 3 months
labouring over it... however instead of spending 3 months making it really
colourful and creative she spent three months adding layer upon layer of
papier mache... the result well it was inches thick! It was hilarious...
imagine 20 athletic young men taking turns whacking at it with a metal
baseball bat! Eventually they got out a saw. It took an hour and a half to
get to the lollies.

LOL! Good memories!

I really like the ones with ribbons that the kids all pull together. It is
safer, and the pinata isn't destroyed. My grade three class made one once;
a group of eight year olds bashing away at all that work. But I think I
remember it as fun.
