Picture playback issue

Canon T7i camera is getting red squares on pic playback on camera, picture has green focus when taking picture. What setting do i change to eliminate this issue.

That is the AF point display during playback, you can disable it.

Go to the playback section by using the Q button, you should be able to see the "AF point display" section, then select the "disable". After that it should be gone.
