[SOLVED] Picture quality oriented budget monitor?

Hi, I am looking for a monitor under 20k INR that's roughly 260 USD.

I have AMD RX570 graphics card. I like to play games once in a while but I don't recognize myself as a gamer.

Currently I am using lg-22MP56HQ-S which is quite old and has this dirty yellowish tinge which I hate.

I want to buy something better without selling my kidney. Overall picture quality is of utmost importance to me.
I rarely play games.

I use my desktop mostly for entertainment like surfing the internet, watching videos and high quality images.

Display size I am looking for is 24-27 inches perhaps? My face is often as close as 1.75 feet away from monitor.

1080p or 1440p? VA or IPS? Any recommendations, please?

I don't think refresh rate would matter much as I am not big on gaming.

That's one of the monitors that I book marked. What are your reasons for picking it?
My only contention with that monitor is its prominent bezel which is kind of a turn off when you are buying a monitor for entertainment.

It covers 100% sRGB, 2560x1440 resolution will make it easier on the eyes due to high pixel density especially when you are only 1.75ft from the monitor. Full 8bit color depth, means it can display 16.7 million colors without dithering. IPS panel type allows for better viewing angles and colors. True the bezel isn't the greatest, but it is something you get used to and I have seen a lot worse.

VA does have higher contrast that IPS. IPS has a little better viewing angles and color. The biggest issue with that monitor is the 1080p resolution at 27". That will cause a lot of eyestrain because you will see the pixels, especially if you are very close to the monitor. I will never recommend a 27" 1080p monitor to someone as the pixel density is too small.

It is a good monitor, you will just want to have the colors calibrated.

Thank you. I think I am going to go for smaller and higher PPI. I have never compared two monitors of different PPI next to each other but judging from mobile devices which generally have higher PPI, I think that's the kind of display I want. Always wondered why mobile devices seem to have such nice display but not monitor. I think its PPI.

Having used 24" 1080p next to 24" 1440p I can say the difference is noticable. The higher PPI makes a huge difference and is just all-around nicer.
