While I agree that you should expect consequences to your actions, I do think public stoning is a bit extreme. Egging and water balloons maybe - but to cause bodily injury in response to insults is a bit... barbaric.

("Let the punishment fit the crime" - and for all those devout believers in God and Christian faith, what ever happened to leaving the judging to your "Creator"?)
