Ello ppls.

I'm looking at purchasing a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB.

I hear its a great monitor.

My major problem is what the 2070SB actually LOOKS like!

It has to fit in with the rest of my rig.

All the images of it i have seen are tiny and really don’t show anything at all. I want to see it from a few different angles and what do all the buttons look like?! I know there is a picture here on Sharky, but I was looking for something else.

I shouldn’t worry about this kind of thing, but it does matter to me. Very fickle, I know!

So if anyone knows where some picture of this thing can be found. OR owns one and would be good enough to take some photos for me (that would be totally brilliant!) I would be very appreciative.

Thanks for your time.

In that picture the 2070SB appears light grey with a darker grey bezel. Maybe it's just lighting.

Here's <A HREF="http://www.mitsubishi-electric.com.au/files/brochures/peri/monitor/Diamond_Pro_2070SB.pdf" target="_new">2070SB brochure (PDF file)</A> (two views).

There's also a black model, 2070SB-BK. I couldn't find any good pictures of this model.

By the way, this Tom's Hardware Guide not Sharky's.

<b>99% is great, unless you are talking about system stability</b>

Here you go, full specs and a picture:

--->It ain't better if it don't work<---

I just shipped a 2070SB back to the company I bought it from...

I'm not sure if the one I got was defective...or I just have funky vision...

There is a plethora of geometry settings on this monitor...

But now matter how straight I got the edges...I saw curves in the center display area...

I had several people look at the monitor...5 to be exact...

3 of them saw the same thing I did...

They other two didn't see squat...

So..I called Mitsubishi to ask them about it..

They say it's an optical illusion...and your eyes will become accustomed to it..

Well...I used the monitor for about 5 days...for about 6 to 8 hours a day..before it finally drove me over the edge...

Conclusion: Mitsubishi says this is a "normal" ocurrence...and the larger the display..the more noticible the curve...

I hated sending it back...because it has crazy high refresh rate capabilities...and being I like to have Vsync on when I'm playing my games (reduces tearing in images) this was a good thing...

So..now I'm gonna try the 930SB which is the 19" version...

Well...this is just my opinion...
