PIII fan

Hi folks

I have a PIII450 at work which I rarely shut down... however upon booting the PC after being shut down for 2 weeks.. the CPU fan made the usual "I've had enough" noise. My Query is.. how do you "unclip the PIII" from the Mobo so I can install a new CPU fan? are their any good sites on it etc... I had a quick look on Friday but decided I would ask around before breaking anything

What type of CPU? Slot or socket?

If God didn't want us to eat animals then why did he make them out of meat?!

I'm not 100% sure but its the same fitting at the late PII's.. I can never remember which is the oldest

There are usually a couple buttons on the side of the holders that need to be pushed in, then the CPU lifts out.

Suicide is painless...........

Thanks Crashman... I remember the two buttons on the side of the CPU.. I'll go for it tommorrow and report back on my success / lack off )
