Hello folks!
Could anyone plz help me, i want to o/c my new p3800EB,
in my bios there is an soft cpu menu were i should be able to set my multiplier and the fsb, but it´s currently set to 3*100, and my computer is running 6*133. I can change the fsb to 6*140 and 6*150 in another menu, but my cpu soft setting menu is not seem to working, has it something to do with an Intel lock or something like that plz help me plz plz plz plz.

Check to see if there are any jumpers on your motherboard. If you want to use the soft menu, your board jumpers must be set to use it. on my Asus CUV4X, for example, all the motherboard jumpers must be free in order to use the jumperless mode. So.. check your motherboards manual to make sure you are set up to use the soft menu.
If you are, I can tell you that using the fsb of 133, you can overclock the PIII 800eb easily and successfully to 900. anything more would require special (expensive) memory chips.

you can't change the multiplier on Intel CPUs. Sounds like yours will always be set to 6 no matter what you do. Have to play with the FSB.

What motherboard do you have?
Is it bought with a complete system? Then your dealer may have disabled the possibility to change FSB in CMOS, because he doesnt want to support an overclocked system. You can easily enable it again, read the manual. If your computer is a Brand name like Compaq, Dell, IBM or something like that, overclocking is most likely near to impossible.
Your FSB must be set to 150Mhz! to get 900Mhz from your PIII800EB, This processor is made to run at 133 FSB with a multiplier of 6.
6 x 133,3 = 800. To overclock this CPU, your RAM and motherboard must be very high quality. I have Quality parts, and can only reach 912. Beyond this my system becomes unstable. But dont be too disappointed, you have a VERY fast system. NOTE you may have to change RAM timings, and remeber higher numbers are slower when you set them, so if your system is unstable increase settings, else lower settings for a faster system.

of coz it's not working.
your agp is already running at 89mhz!
far too high from the spec. (66mhz!)
remember it is a BX board.
